Judging at a Tournament

Parents must judge two tournaments (we welcome more) for the event in which their student participates. We have lots of resources for new judges.

You do not need to have ANY speech and debate experience to be a great judge. Judging is very fun and the students are incredibly impressive. 

Speech and Debate Tournaments cannot happen without Parent/Guardian judges. It is a unique student activity in that you are right in the mix, judging while your student competes at the same tournament - although you will never judge your own student or anyone from Yorktown.
