Lincoln-Douglas will help your develop your persuasive and research skills.
Since topics are more based on moral values, it may be deemed a bit of a challenge, but nonetheless fun to work on. Another benefit of L-D is that topics changes bi-monthly (every 2 months), giving you plenty time to prepare and improve your arguments.
You will also get to learn a lot more about the topic you are working on. In addition, you will be able to improve your research skills.
You will be debating against another competitor for this event, but you will have an entire team behind you for support.
